Don't order anything from these jokers tbh. Pre-ordered the Cataclysm CE several months ago from them, at the price of £54.99. Had an email a couple of days later to say the price was up to £59.99, but that they'd honour the original price, as per their guarantee.

Had another email a couple of days ago saying the price was now £49.99, so I'd be paying that. Then another email to say the price was £59.99 again, but not to worry! I'll be paying £49.99!

About 30 mins ago I had yet another email, saying their system fucked up and I'd be paying £59.99 (more than the email I had months ago). I check my order on the site, and it's £59.99. I call them up and they say there's nothing they can do and won't be honouring their price as it was an error.

So I've cancelled and ordered it from Amazon. Cunts.

Lols.  I had a fun one with Game a few years ago.  Pre-ordered something in-store (one of the GTA series I think) and paid a £5 deposit.  By the time the game was released my receipt was completely blank.  The paper or ink was so shit that the text literally fell off the receipt while it was folded in half in my wallet   The cunts kept my £5 and I had to pay full price for the game.  Every pre-order since then has been done on Amazon.

Never really liked game, Play.com and Amazon are the ones I like most. Game is also pretty crappy with international shipping times. Play.com delivers here in three days, 5 in worst case: instead, game sometimes even forgets to ship your packet...

I use amazon, thehut.org or zavvi.co.uk (they do neat promotions from time to time). Some of my friends already encountered issues with play.com aswell so I tend to stay away from that website.

Yesazia is good for Azian games.

I had the same issue Targh however today the order is showing at the original £55 price

[e]As for stores Game.co.uk and gamepplay.co.uk (also part of Game) have yet to fail me for delivering games by the release date. Amazon have yet to ever send me anything in a timley manner. Play are slow but I can forgive them because they are based in Jersey iirc and they are very cheap.

I've got £5 on my reward card (rather than a voucher that lasts a month) after complaining, another £5 that had lapsed because I didn't use it restored, AND got it for the same price from Amazon.

So it's fairly even.

Well it looks like Game have totally fucked me.

First the decide not to honor my order and send me an email telling me so.

Then i find out that they have applied for funds from my bank for an order they are not going to process.
