Name:

Hi all,
My name is Kayleigh, i'm 25 and living in Ireland.

Character information:

Annivexie

http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/bloodhoof/Annivexie/simple

Bloodelf fire mage, item level 355 (its not terrible but needs improvement which i'm happy to work on myself, i don't intend for the guild to gear me up)

I took a few months break from wow when we just started firelands hence why i'm a bit behind on gear upgrades.

Give us some information on your spec(s) and why you chose it/them (include info on why you chose specific talents which might be considered unusual):

I swear by elitist jerks for upgrades and any handy information about my spec, i chose fire as it's imo the least boring mage specc to play (no offence to arcane lovers, whatever floats your boat)

I stick to hit cap (or as close to it as possible) int - haste - and whatever else after that.

main rotation would be to keep up living bomb, combustion (arcane brilliance as per standard) fireball and pyro on procks, i might switch to scorch instead of fireball incase i go low on mana.
ofcourse it may all alter a bit depending on what fight we're at.

As alternative to fire i have a frost offspecc, a bit handier to cc and slow things at times.

Notable Alts

anniranoxa 85 resto druid (gear is at ilevel 343 or something i recently made some changes so not 100%)

http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/bloodhoof/Anniranoxa/simple

I've healed in firelands in a desperate moment when we lacked healers and it went fairly well.

What are your current/past guilds and the reasons you left them?

i was on executus since vanilla, i was in few of the main end game guilds throughout vanilla-tbc, wotlk and start of cata. migrated to Bloodhoof for a change of scenery and to join some IRL friends and help them organise Dark Brotherhood. in which i currently still am. the guild sort of fell apart, no solid reason, just drifted apart people lost interest etc.

Why are you interested in joining Awesome Grats?

Mainly due to Caelle and keni being here (no point to lie Smiley ) and for a chance of some raids, see some end content. i mainly play this game for fun.

Raiding experience (this can be any and all raiding experience you've had from release up to present):

Vanilla: MC, AQ 20/40, naxx - anything i forgot?
TBC: KZ, ZA, BT, SWP, Gruul/magy - anything else i forgot? Tongue
WOTLK: ICC, Ulduar, TOC, nexx, OS
CATA: BD, BH, BT, Tot4w, - 2 or 3 go's at firelands

In short, everything there is/was to raid since the dawn of wow.

Which days are you usually available to raid?

no real restrictions, i can adapt to whatever raid schedule is used.

Do you use an authenticator with your battle.net account? (If not, say why)

I do, i just wanted the core hound pup Tongue

Other info about yourself:

As i said before i took a few months off to recover from a really shitty year i had so far, so im a bit behind on minor details of patch changes regarding my class, but i'm sure to pick up on these soon enough.

Many thanks for your time,
I'm happy to answer any other questions you may have.

Hi and thanks for your application. AG is currently in need of good raiders to bolster our roster. We currently have two raiding mages so there could be room for one more. Lately we have been struggling at times to sustain 25-man raiding and have had to sometimes revert 10-man. This has also hampered our progress a bit. How many of those boss kills you mention were obtained when the content was relevant and challenging, i.e. current tier?
I am personally no expert on mages so I will have Udal or Spes help me with class knowledge assessment.
I have opened an internal discussion thread regarding your application. We should be able to get back to you in about a week's time with a decision.

Some pointers about your gear/spec:
Unenchanted ring. You have the lesser lodestone on shoulders, get the greater one. Missing lightweave embroidery on cloak(best enchant you can get of all professions).
Glyph of Slow on a firebuild? Glyph of molten armor should be used if you're raiding as fire.
You should use brilliant inferon rubys everywhere unless you get equal or more int from socket bonus if you use another gem. Int is by far our strongest stat. Gem for int and reforge/enchant for other stats.

Hi, Thanks for the pointers,
Like i said i took a long break from wow and i know my gear needs a bit of tweeking,
enchants and gemming are minor things i can easily change if needs be.

I'll look into it asap and take your advice into account.

Hi - i was looking at the molten armor glyph but i cant replace it for the slow glyph one is prime and one is major, i also dont much see the point in losing the crit increase of fireball and pyro as they are in my main rotation for 5% crit increase each over the 2% molten armor would give, i know the others are chance on and the molten armor one is permanent but i doubt it would make much of a muchness of a difference. im happy to give it a try if you insist however...
if you can suggest any other major glyph i could replace the slow one for (which i really only put in to full the slot as i didnt find anything else usefull in the fire build) i'd be happy to trade it out. also reviewing all enchants/gems as long as they are not at cost of hit - i'll up the int by however much i can.

i've changed the shoulder enchant and cloak enchant, i've looked at my gems but i cant switch out any as they would drop my hit too much. all that's left is the slow glyph but sure that's a minor issue imo Smiley

Just to update - if switched around some gear - new head and bracers so ilevel went up a bit and all enchants/gems and what not are up to date.

Hey Anni,

first of all, I'd like to apologize for the long wait that you had to get to know our decision.

However, I'd say it was worth it, as we would like to offer a trial to you!

Please chuck a whisper to an officer (Brilhasti, Fondorlat, Funder or Gekz) for an invite.

Cheers,
Fond
